Robyn and Brian became involved in wildlife care after their daughter showed a great interest in learning to care and rehabilitate wildlife as a teenager. After 30 years of experience and training Robyn and Brian founded Marsupial Mammas and Pappas (Inc) to continue their efforts of rescue and rehabilitating wildlife into the future.
Katy Longworth
Treasurer and Wildlife Carer
Katy is not only a mother of 4 but is experienced at raising kangaroos and birds too. In her spare time Katy is the Treasurer of MMAPS and has a large bush property with many breeds of chickens, alpacas, sheep horses and goats.

I became a Wildlife carer in 2019 when I was introduced to founding members Robyn and Brian Foley. 5 years on and I have trained to hand raise Western Grey kangaroo joeys from pinky’s to release, possums, quenda, birds and reptiles on my property. I have assisted to formalise the group which is now a registered charity and licensed to care for all species of injured and orphaned wildlife.
